Koziak Productions styled and coordinated the Artists for Trauma fashion show during the Rhythm and Joy Festival in August 2014.
Artists for Trauma provides a pathway for civilian & military trauma survivors to re-connect with themselves and their communities, through private, one-on-one instruction in a wide range of artistic disciplines. This creative engagement has been shown repeatedly to be of great assistance in helping those who have suffered physical, mental or emotional trauma. More information at artistsfortrauma.org.

The Art of Fashion Runway Show
Style Week OC kicked off last week at the Fashion Island Shopping Center in Newport Beach with Neiman Marcus' The Art of Fashion - 20 Years Fashion Show. Guests were greeted with a pair of wayfarer sunglasses to wear, ice cold San Pellegrino to hydrate, and paper fans to stay cool. The show highlighted autumn/winter looks from Neiman Marcus and ranged from casual glam to evening wear. Although Southern California lacks actual seasons (fitting that it was a total heatwave and humidity central during the show, instead of the usual cool down for fall), I always enjoy seeing premier designs in outerwear, fur and leather pieces, boots, knits, and sweaters. Some of the trends from the runway that caught my eye included graphic prints, intricate embroidery, vibrant prints, and an opulent color palette.

From Nick Verreos: This past weekend--alongside my partner David Paul--I had the honor of debuting our NIKOLAKI Spring 2015 Collection on Finale Night of Style Week Orange County 2014 at Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine California. Our runway show began the night's festivities, which was then followed by the Celebrity Cruises Design Competition and the Spectrum Collection. I'll have a BLOG RECAP of those events in an upcoming post. But for now...it's all about our NIKOLAKI Spring 2015 fashion show...
